Architects vs. Architects at the job fair

I went to a Job fair in Virginia Beach held by Corporate Gray - Competitive Edge Services (mainly for military men and women transitioning to civilian work). No one searching for architects (surprise). Usually when I told them I was an architect, they assumed that I was a computer programmer. The all seemed a little dismayed when I said, "no, a building architect." It is kinda sad that even our title has been assumed by another field, and that is what people assume you are talking about.

A new beginning

Same here, walking by those streets and boulevards is even better than the MOMA, every few blocks another incredible building! Good luck over there! Things seem to be moving, but still sluggishly on this coast.

Hi Kenneth!
Beautiful pictures, and good freehand, too! I enjoyed your photos and sketches of Barcelona (I love that city); only you need to change the title of "La pedera" to "La Pedrera" which loosely translated means "The Rocky one". La pedera reads more like "The farting one". (In Spanish rock = piedra and fart = pedo)
