Trying to make connections for Architectural Photography Services during my unemployment.
Since working in architecture is dead for a while, I am trying to expand my architectural photography services some. If you know of anyone looking, please consider me and forward my contact info onto them. Thanks.
I am traveling to Chicago, New Mexico and Indianapolis in the next 2 weeks for shoots, because I feel clients have seen the talent I offer at an affordable price.
I have spent 13 years in architecture as a designer, detailer and project manager while having developed my architectural photography skills. Because I have worked on the design of museums, university projects, residential developments and created presentations and marketing literature for my various firms, I understand the importance of having various images of projects for design reference, inspiration, marketing, graphic layouts and presentations.
I give my clients as many good shots as I possibly can and bill only for my time on the shoot, editing afterwards and travel if required. My average project shoot can yield as few as 20 shots and as many as 200 (as my 3 day Gateway Canyons Resort shoot recently did). My day shooting rate is $400 with another editing day required at an average of $200, so a typical one day shoot of one(or more projects if closely located and short shoots) can be $600 before any traveling costs. Since I am in the Denver area, travel within the metro area is not a cost addition, but further away will be simple mileage charges or more if needed. Travel costs are billed at face value with no markup.
